Scooter Parking - An Ongoing Struggle |
Neil Barton of Vespaway writes for the NY Times about scooter parking in NYC. It seems as though my city, Vancouver shares very simular problems with the big apple.
After much debate, our fine city has allowed for two-wheel vehicle parking at a mere 30 designated spots throughout the downtown core - in a city of roughly 2 million, i dont see how this equation works. And did we mention, these are metered spots?

Piaggio's Against-The-Odds Comeback |
The Wall Street Journal reports - Three years after it was bought by maverick Italian industrialist Roberto Colaninno, Piaggio has returned to the black for the first time in years, opened new factories in China and is planning a stock-market listing for this year.
